Laundry Attendant

At The Galmont Hotel & Spa, we are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to support our housekeeping staff and ensure public areas and back-of-house spaces are clean, organized, and well-stocked.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsures maximum cleaning effectiveness by sorting laundry prior to washing according to fabric type, colour, item or soil concentrationPulls damaged and/or stained linen prior to loading washersInsures maximum loading capacity by weighting bed linens prior to washingLoads washers and dryers to recommended weightsSaves energy by setting dryers for proper heating and cooling timesPlaces only proper linens in the dryerOperates, maintains and cleans laundry and equipment according to hotel and corporate standardsInforms Laundry Manager of any mechanical failures or supply shortagesIrons, packages and handles guest laundry as per hotel and corporate standards and guidelinesIs fully aware of the "3 Hour Guarantee Laundry Service" conceptReports unusual circumstances to Floor SupervisorWhat We're Looking ForPrevious housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred but not requiredStrong work ethic and attention to detailAbility to lift and transport, push/pull carts, and stand for extended periodsFlexible with schedule, including weekends and holidaysFriendly, team-oriented attitude and willingness to help where neededWhat We OfferCompetitive payOpportunities for advancementOn-the-job trainingEmployee discounts on stays and diningSupportive team environmentJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: €***** per hourExpected hours: ******* per weekWork Location: In person
