QC Instrumentation Engineer – 12-Month Contract

We are seeking a
QC Instrumentation Engineer
to join a leading biopharma client on a
12-month contract
.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a
world-class pharmaceutical organisation
producing
cutting-edge medicines
.
You will support the
purchase, qualification, calibration and lifecycle management of QC laboratory instrumentation
, ensuring compliance with GMP standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead instrument purchase, qualification, calibration, and lifecycle management.
Oversee calibration schedules, maintenance, and investigations.
Review and approve qualification protocols and related documentation.
Collaborate with QC, QA, and validation teams to deliver new equipment projects.
Drive compliance with data integrity and regulatory standards (21 CFR 11/EU Annex 11).
Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
BSc in a scientific discipline (or equivalent).
Minimum 3 years' experience in a GMP laboratory, with instrument qualification expertise.
Strong understanding of biopharma analytical platforms (e.g. HPLC/UPLC, CE, SDS-PAGE, Biacore).
Knowledge of data integrity and regulatory compliance.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
