About the role
Would you like to work in one of the world's most prominent and entrepreneurial technology and engineering businesses while helping to drive client satisfaction?
EPAM is seeking a technically hands-on Senior Integration Architect to collaborate with a well-known and established key client in Ireland.
The client has tasked EPAM with reviewing and working closely with the organization to enhance and standardize the integration approach and support a domain-driven microservices architecture.
The goal is to identify integration patterns, align them with the overall strategy by working with the enterprise architecture team, and select appropriate API gateway and orchestration tools.
This role will be supported by a Microservices Architect and requires facilitating workshops, building relationships, and meeting client teams in Dublin bi-weekly or monthly.
We offer a hybrid work environment of home and office.
This is a great opportunity to work with EPAM's senior tech leaders, global architects/engineers, and client teams.
Our architects should be able to engage in discussions, identify technological needs, recommend suitable solutions, and communicate effectively.
Responsibilities
Design and implement integration strategies, architectures, and patterns to support a transition to a domain-driven microservices approach.
Collaborate with Solution Architects to understand legacy monoliths and existing microservices to create an integration roadmap.
Plan seamless integration of new and existing services to minimize operational disruptions.
Develop best practices for API design, ensuring efficient and secure data exchange.
Work with development and architecture teams to implement solutions, providing technical guidance.
Document all integration designs and decisions for future reference.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions on integration strategies and solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or relevant experience.
Proven experience as an Integration Architect designing robust microservices integration architectures.
Strong knowledge of integration patterns and technologies, including RESTful APIs, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
Experience with legacy systems and modernization approaches.
Experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, SNS, and Step Functions.
Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts and work effectively with stakeholders.
Nice to have
