Barden are delighted to have been exclusively engaged by an Irish SME owned by a successful entrepreneur.
Due to recent growth they are now inviting an Accountant to join their team.
This is a broad accounting position offering exposure to the full finance function, as well as getting involved in the day-to-day running of the business.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
Preparation of financial statements;
Preparation of monthly management accounts;
Assist in the preparation of budgeting and forecasting process;
Monitor and strengthen the control environment;
Manage cash flow;
Oversee and review operational finance;
Ensure tax compliance;
Prepare scenario analysis to support business decisions;
Assist with the external audit process;
Identify opportunities from improvements and efficiencies in current process.
Ad-hoc projects as they arise.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
Qualified accounting professional or qualified by experience;
Minimum 3 years experience within an SME environment;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Self-starter and ability to prioritise deadlines;
Strong technical ability and good attention to detail;
Office based in Dublin South, with hybrid working in place.
