Saw Operative/Coachford

Flexsource are currently seeking Saw Operatives in Coachford Business Park, Clonmoyle. Candidates must have the ability to perform in a high paced environment. They will be required to work as part of a team to assemble components in the factory, while ensuring that the factory is operated in an efficient and safe manner. Job Description: Working as part of a small team, so willingness to work across a variety of roles required. Saw Operator Duties Set up and operate a variety of saws to cut metal and other materials Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications File, grind and smooth rough edges and surfaces Read blueprints and job orders to determine product specifications and tooling instructions Select and install saw blades and other attachments according to specifications Maintain saws, checking and replacing worn blades, drive belts and other parts Keep records of daily production Examine finished work pieces for defects Saw Operator Requirements Ability to read technical drawings Experience in the operation of saws Knowledge of safety procedures Saw Operator Skills Ability to read engineering drawings Knowledge of safety requirements Experience in operating saw machinery Highly motivated Attention to detail Able to work with minimal supervision Working Hours : 39 hours p.w. - Monday to Thursday (8am to 4:30pm), Friday (8am to 3:30pm) Starting Date: Immediate Rate of Ray : 16.00-20.00 € per hour (depending on experience) Skills: Manual Handling good communication organizational skills
