Oliver James is pleased to be working with a global financial services firm to recruit for an Accounting Manager within their Investment Finance division.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of critical financial operations and contribute to the integrity of core accounting processes within a dynamic investment environment.
Role Highlights
Take charge of cash control processes and reconciliation activity across the asset management function
Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams
Coordinate and deliver quarterly balance sheet reconciliations for multiple investment entities
Review and prepare journal entries as part of the monthly and quarterly close process using SAP
Approve and ensure accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations each quarter
Partner with stakeholders across the business to identify and implement process enhancements
Foster a strong team dynamic and maintain effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Who You Are
Degree-qualified in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree advantageous)
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a financial accounting or AR/AP-focused role
Strong working knowledge of SAP or comparable general ledger systems
Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and building cross-functional relationships
