Piano And Saxophone Teacher

Lucan School of Music is seeking a piano and Saxophone teacher for Wednesday afternoon / evening.Our school aims to foster a warm and welcoming environment and provide a positive environment for students of all ages to pursue their goals, whether for exams or for fun.ResponsibilitiesTeaching students of all ages and levels piano and saxophone.Lesson planning.Sourcing suitable material for each student's goal and level.Following exam syllabus and exam application (for some students).Communicating with parents.Assigning weekly practice to each student.Co-operating with school administration.QualificationsWe are looking for someone with a background in both instruments, excellent communication skills and a passion for music.Teaching experience and familiarity with relevant exam boards would be ideal Piano teaching at an advanced level is not required, but we do need someone who can teach both Saxophone and Piano.Job Type: Part-timePay: €***** per hourExpected hours: 4 – 5.5 per weekEducation:Advanced/Higher Certificate (required)Experience:music teaching: 1 year (required)Work Location: In personReference ID: Piano Teacher September ****Expected start date: 28/08/2025
