About UsAt 24hr Care Services, we provide 24-hour, person-centered care in residential and community settings across Ireland.Our services support individuals with mental health needs and intellectual disabilities to live fulfilling lives with dignity, respect, and compassion.We are now expanding our team and seeking Mental Health Nurses and Intellectual Disability Nurses to join us directly as valued employees.You will be part of a dedicated care team, delivering high-quality support in a safe, supportive environment.Role SummaryAs a nurse with 24hr Care Services, you will be at the heart of our mission to deliver exceptional care.Working directly for our organization, you will provide clinical expertise, emotional support, and holistic care to individuals who are with us in our residential service.Key ResponsibilitiesPerson-Centered CareDeliver high-quality nursing care tailored to each individual's needs.Support service users with mental health challenges or intellectual disabilities in achieving their personal goals.Clinical OversightCarry out assessments, create and review care plans, and ensure best practices in medication management and clinical care.Monitor physical and mental well-being, responding promptly to any changes or concerns.CollaborationWork closely with our multidisciplinary team—including care staff, therapists, and management—to provide integrated, holistic support.Communicate effectively with families and other professionals to ensure continuity of care.Professional StandardsMaintain accurate records, follow HIQA and NMBI guidelines, and uphold our service's values of dignity, respect, and safety.Qualifications & SkillsRegistered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) in either:Psychiatric Nursing (RPN)Intellectual Disability Nursing (RNID)Experience in residential, community, or mental health care settings preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Commitment to person-centered care and continuous professional development.What We OfferDirect employment with 24hr Care Services — become a valued member of our growing team.Competitive salary with opportunities for career progression.Ongoing training and professional development.Supportive, team-focused work environment.Flexible working patterns, including 24-hour residential care shifts.How to ApplyJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €*****-€***** per hourBenefits:On-site parkingApplication question(s):Can you describe your experience working with young people who have mental health needs and/or intellectual disabilities, particularly in residential or community-based settings?Tell us about a time you supported a young person through a behavioral or mental health crisis.What strategies did you use, and what was the outcome?How do you ensure your nursing care is person-centered while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team to support young people's individual goals?Work Location: In person
