Career Vision Recruiters is seeking to recruit an innovative Head Chef to lead the kitchen team in this busy Hotel in Killarney. You will have overall responsibility of the kitchen and its team to ensure that food maintains the highest quality consistently. This is a high-volume kitchen with seasonal groups and busy with local guests. ***This position may suit an experience Sous Chef looking to take a step up*** Your duties will include: Overall responsibility for the kitchens daily operations. Excellent understanding of GPs, food costings Excellent HACCP & Hygiene Liaising with the relevant companies for food orders. Creating new dishes and menus. Team rosters Interviewing and hiring new staff. Monitoring and controlling stock levels. Ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed. Implementation of health and safety procedures in the kitchen. Estimating costs and ensuring all purchases come within budget.
