Financial Controller Digital Health (First-in-Role) We are delighted to be partnering with an innovative and rapidly growing digital health company to appoint their first Financial Controller.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the finance function within a purpose-driven organisation that is transforming the delivery of care for complex medical conditions on a global scale.
Reporting directly to the CEO and as a key member of the senior leadership team, the Financial Controller will lead on all aspects of financial strategy, planning, reporting, and governance.
This role will be instrumental in supporting the companys ambitious growth plans, including international expansion, securing investment, and scaling operations.
Key Responsibilities Build and lead a high-performing finance function from the ground up Develop and maintain robust financial controls, systems, and processes Oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance activities Support funding rounds, M&A activity, and investor relations Provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making Partner cross-functionally to ensure alignment with commercial goals Prepare the business for future growth, including team development and system scalability Candidate Profile Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA), ideally Big 4 trained 3 - 5 years post-qualified experience, preferably in a high-growth, technology-led or startup/scale-up environment Strong technical expertise with a proactive, hands-on approach Experience in financial planning and analysis, fundraising, and risk management Commercially minded, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced setting Strong communication skills and ability to influence at senior levels Whats on Offer The opportunity to make a significant impact in a mission-led, innovative company A leadership role with autonomy and scope to shape the finance function A collaborative, growth-oriented culture focused on improving lives through technology Skills: Financial Controller Financial Planning Cash Flow Budgeting start up scale up SAAS
