Your new companyOur client is currently recruiting an experienced Site Engineer in Mayo to work with their highly skilled team on a large project.You will be part of a team that will be responsible for delivering technical excellence to the project.Responsibilities of the role include:Establish and maintain procedures with design team, clients and subcontractors for information flow, approvals, meetings and reporting.Record all daily activities, relevant information and occurrencesReporting to the management team on the programme schedule and ensuring compliance with plans, specifications and building standards.Undertaking surveys and ensuring engineering details are being followed on site.Supervising subcontractors and checking the quality of works.Conduct document reviews, scheduling and attending site meetings to ensure overall compliance with the building schedule.Reporting to the Project Manager and senior management team on all aspects of engineering relating to the project.Ensuring compliance with agreed construction methods, particularly those relating to Quality Assurance and Health & Safety.Setting out using total station & GPS equipment.Qualifications, Skills & Experience;3+ years in a similar role.Engineering Degree required.Knowledge of construction techniques and being competent in all aspects of setting out, surveying, and temporary works.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Strong IT skills with good knowledge of MS Office & CAD.A good understanding of Health & Safety requirements within Irish construction sites.Strong Management Skills.Full Irish Driving licence.What we can offer you:Excellent Salary.Supportive work environment with a company that believes in investing in its staff.What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.Hays Ireland is a trading division of Hays Specialist Recruitment (Ireland) Limited and acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.By applying for this job you accept the T&C's, Privacy Policy and Disclaimers which can be found
