Bulk Delivery Driver Dublin

Calor have an exciting opportunity within their Bulk Operations Department for a permanent position of a Bulk Delivery Driver.The role will be to deliver multi-fuel types to our customers both domestic, industrial and commercial.The role will be on a shift basis which comprises of early morning shift, day shift and/or afternoon shift on a rotational basis working any 5 over 7 days (includes weekends).THE JOBCarry out a pre and post shift driver walk around vehicle H&S check prior to departure from Depot.Deliver LPG, LNG and other fuel types in line with Calor procedures on single or multi drop basis to domestic, industrial and commercial customers.Drive in a safe and efficient manner and abiding by the rules of the highway code.Deliver product using on board computer system recording accurate information.Attend training and participate in regular assessments.Refuel vehicles following or prior to shift and in line with the refuelling process.Maintain cleanliness of vehicle including cab interior.Report accidents, incidents, and safety concerns immediately in line with company procedures.Complete all Near Miss reporting as required.Produce licences for inspection when requested.Maintain and process daily administration and submit at the end of the shift.Follow procedures as laid out in the driver's manual and the training manual.Assist with training other drivers as required.Ability to work a flexible schedule with possible after-hours emergency calls.Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.Complete minor yard duties as required.Assist other drivers as a helper when required.Work within the legal parameters of driver hours and working time directive legislation, being fully compliant with tachograph and break requirements.Flexibility and availability for early and late start and finishing times, for example early starts can be from 4.00hrs and late starts can be from 18.00hrs.Operation of all technology in the trucks.To deliver excellence in customer experience (CX) by embodying Calor's values and upholding the standards of accountability, seamless service, and curiosity.Ensure that health and safety of yourself and your colleagues is a priority in everything that you do - log Health and Safety conversations, as appropriate focusing on either an 'unsafe condition' where we see something that could cause injury to a person or an 'unsafe act' which is something that someone does that can lead to injury.All other duties as directed by the Transport Manager.THE PERSONBe safety conscious in all aspects of their role.Flexible in approach to work, works effectively as part of a team, providing support in resolving problems and have a can do, right first-time approach.Reliable, punctual & hard workingCustomer focused with a proven track record in dealing and interacting with people in a positive and professional manner.Be willing to embrace change.Supports others.Professional manner in all communications and contact with colleagues, managers, Calor employees, customers, general public, other road users.Experience Skills and Qualifications Required:Education requirement to complete this role:Minimum: Very good written and spoken English and a good standard of Math's.Math's & English leaving cert or equivalent preferred.A minimum of 2 years HGV driving experienceHold a clean valid HGV driving licence appropriate to size of tanker(rigid/articulated)ADR Certificate in bulk gases (Packages and Tanks)Hold a Driver CPC qualifications and Digital Tachograph CardUp to date CPC modulesPrevious relevant driving experience – multi and single dropHold valid Manual handling & Working at Height certificatesHealth and Safety, awareness and knowledge essentialMust be fully experienced trained on Tachograph Regulations in relation to driving times and breaksExcellent communication skillsExcellent customer services skillsKnowledge of Mechanics advantageousCustomer First Mindset: Prioritizes customer needs and ensures their concerns are addressed with empathy and care.Experience in Digital Logistics advantageousGood geographical knowledge of Republic of IrelandLPG / LNG product knowledge an advantageSHV Group is the largest dedicated global LPG distributor in the market.Calor is part of the SHV Group, a family-owned Dutch multinational which operates on a networked basis, employing more than 60,000 people worldwide, operating in 27 countries and supplies LPG to tens of millions of customers worldwide.Calor in Ireland employs over 280 employees across eight sites in Ireland and a further 200 indirectly.Calor is a leading supplier and distributor of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) in Ireland;
