OverviewElectrical Engineer (Rotation to Cardiff)Generous Tax Free Allowance in Addition to Salary + Regular Return Flights.Salary paid in £Pounds and taxed through the UK system, which will equate to a higher net earningElectrical Engineer required to join a large M&E contractor on a Data Centre construction project in Cardiff.Our client has projects in Ireland, Europe and the UK and work across many sectors including Pharmaceutical, Power, Waste to Energy, Commercial, and Data Centres.If you are an Electrical Engineer who is looking for your next career move, send your CV to Oisín O'Donohoe for a confidential discussion.ResponsibilitiesCollaborating with the construction team to develop method statements and risk assessments for production activities.Compiling reports and conducting front-end studies, including capital cost estimates, project schedules, material take-offs, and tender schedules.Preparing technical and contract documentation for issuance and analysing returned tenders.Maintaining and updating the delivery schedule to manage and track deliveries effectively.Addressing queries with the Design team via the Request for Information (RFI) system.Monitoring project progress against the program and issuing progress reports.Creating look-ahead programs to support production planning.Performing quality control through inspections and snagging processes.Qualifications / SkillsA Degree in Electrical Engineering.4 Years+ experience within the engineering and construction industry.Previous experience in the Data Centre, Semi-Conductor or Pharma sector would be an advantage.Good IT skills, particularly in AutoCAD, Amtech, Dialux and Microsoft Office Packages.Fluent English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.An EU passport is essential due to the Visa Requirements.BenefitsSalary £60,000 to £65,000 DOE.Generous living away allowancePension ContributionRegular return flights home.Excellent career progression opportunities.Full Benefits package on application.We also have many other roles for Electrical Engineers across Ireland & Europe.#J-*****-Ljbffr
