Role Title: Field technicianReports To: Team ManagerLocation: Office in Drogheda – works to cover NationwideRole PurposeYou will be part of a team responsible for maintaining and servicing the network of environmental monitoring stations.Full training is provided, and no experience necessary however knowledge of an environmental discipline is an advantage.Key Tasks of the Job:Attending sites around the greater Dublin area for environmental monitoring equipment maintenance – changing batteries, making sure equipment is functional, switching equipment out of calibration, collecting air quality samplesInstallation of noise, vibration, hydro and dust monitoring equipmentConducting servicing/calibration on hydrological equipment in Dublin port and bayAdditional Office based Tasks:Weekly Environmental data analysis and report writing – Excel and WordRequirements:· Full clean Irish driving license – Category B· Passion for working on site and maintaining/operating equipment· Passion for manual work· Knowledge of environmental monitoring, preferably with experience in additionPrincipal ResponsibilitiesAdhere to and maintain compliance with all Health and Safety procedures within your work.Ensuring you are responsible for yourself and/or team members who report into you.Install Noise, Vibration, Dust, Hydrometric sensors for various clients nationwide.Service and maintain Environmental noise, Vibration, Dust, Hydrometric sensors for various clients nationwide.Work to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) set out by both our Clients and NVM.Deliver a first-class customer experience.Positively promote the brand, through on-site performance.Liaise with the Team Manager to ensure that on-site health and safety requirements or issues are communicated in a timely manner.Work to the highest of health and safety standards always.Person SpecificationEducation/QualificationsA full, clean Irish driver's license is requiredExperiencePrevious experience in a customer facing role is desirable not essentialAccreditation (Professional body)Diploma or better in a technical skill would be an advantageSafe Pass ( mandatory)Skills & Competencies (evidence of)Technical knowledge on instrumentation an advantageGood literacy, numeric and IT skills.Technical/Installations minded.InterpersonalExcellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills required.Business SkillsTime ManagementCommunicationCustomer ServicePersonalMust be target driven to deliver on KPI's set by the Client.Able to work at heights and on waterMust be able to understand company health and safety policies and adhere to same always.Determined and committed to high quality standards.Exceptional customer focus with a positive, can-do attitude.Flexibility in line with business requirements daily tasks.Availability to work with overnight stays when required.Ability to represent the company in a professional manner at all times.Job Types: Part-time, Fixed termContract length: 3 - 6 monthsPay: €33,******-€35,****** per yearBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany pensionOn-site parkingSick payWork Location: In personApplication deadline: 13/10/2025Reference ID: FTECH 23Expected start date: 13/10/2025
