Clare Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent eFlexes is currently recruiting a Material Program Leader on behalf of a well-established aviation client based in Shannon, Co.
Clare.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a global organisation where you will play a key role in driving team performance, material programs, and revenue growth.
Role Overview The Material Program Leader will lead and develop the USM (Used Service Material) team, ensuring delivery of high-quality service and achievement of business objectives.
This role requires strong leadership, proven experience in part sales and purchasing, and the ability to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities Lead, support, and motivate the USM materials team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
Monitor performance, provide feedback, and conduct regular reviews.
Report program performance to the Commercial Manager.
Manage purchasing, sales, and stock of materials effectively.
Identify and support new product opportunities and revenue streams.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance material programs and drive growth.
Maintain strong communication with stakeholders (Quality, Finance, Operations) and global teams (Sales & Fulfilment).
Stay up to date on industry trends to ensure continuous improvement.
Roll out materials program strategies to optimise growth and business performance.
Candidate Profile The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate the following: Third-level qualification in Business, Management, or related discipline.
Strong knowledge of the MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) sector.
Minimum 5 years experience in a material trading role.
Entrepreneurial outlook with a proactive approach to growth.
Flexibility to travel and attend trade shows.
Proven leadership and team management experience.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle escalations with professionalism and tact.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
Strong analytical ability, with experience using data to drive improvements and revenue.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
