CAD Technician Specialist Architectural Joinery Location: Longford (or remote/hybrid, based on company preference) Salary: €45,000 €55,000 per annum (Negotiable based on experience) The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CAD Technician to join our in-house design and scheduling team.You will be essential in translating design concepts and architectural drawings into accurate, detailed manufacturing and installation plans for our skilled craftsmen.Key Responsibilities: Produce detailed manufacturing and setting-out drawings for complex, bespoke joinery items (e.g., reception desks, wall panelling, cabinetry, specialised fit-outs) using AutoCAD or relevant 3D software.Work closely with Project Managers, the Workshop Foreman, and external Architects/Designers to ensure drawings meet all technical specifications and standards.Create accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and cutting lists for the workshop production team.Ensure all drawings adhere to required tolerances, quality standards, and relevant building regulations.Candidate Requirements A minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience as a CAD Technician or Draughtsperson, ideally within the architectural joinery, fit-out, or construction industry.High proficiency in AutoCAD 2D is essential; experience with 3D software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor) is a distinct advantage.Strong understanding of woodworking processes, cabinet construction, joinery techniques, and material properties.Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational and communication skills.Apply This is an excellent opportunity to work on Ireland's most prestigious projects.We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience and the chance to develop your career within an industry-leading organisation.
