Senior Mechanical Engineer

My Client are a leading international Engineering Consultancy who are seeking a strong Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to manage and undertake design work and technical project co-ordination in Cork.
The successful Mechanical Engineer will be a part of a busy team providing design and technical services on various project types, including but not limited to Data Centre, Commercial, High-Rise & Residential developments.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management.
Preparation of mechanical design and contract documentation and specifications.
Design of mechanical building services systems.
Coordination of work and collaboration with all members of design teams.
Estimating and Cost Control on projects.
Compiling project reports.
Conceptual design studies and reports.
Mentoring and development of junior and intermediate engineers in the group.
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
6+ years post-qualification design experience.
Chartered Engineer or enroute to achieving chartership.
Experience in a wide range of projects.
Experience in mission critical projects a distinct advantage.
Technically excellent with in-depth knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
Ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges.
