Group Accountant

My client are looking for a Group Accountant to support the Group Financial Director and finance team in delivering accurate financial reporting and insightful management information to drive strategic decision-making.Duties:Consolidate group accounts across Ireland and the US, ensuring accurate intercompany eliminations.Oversee monthly reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflows).Prepare statutory and regulatory reports; manage annual report process.Analyse financial data to assess group performance.Develop and enforce financial policies and internal controls.Manage intercompany loans, interest calculations, and group-level accounting (e.g. investments, FX, provisions).Coordinate reporting deadlines and equity/funding reconciliations.Support ESG reporting and AIQ platform enhancements.Liaise with auditors and senior stakeholders.Assist with finance transformation projects and ad-hoc initiatives.Skills:3-5 years' experience in financial accounting and analysis.Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).Strong technical accounting and consolidation skills.Leadership and report writing capabilities.Experience in energy, renewables, or construction is a plus.Strong and advanced Excel skillsPrivacy Policy: By applying for this role you are agreeing that your details will be stored in our database and may be considered for similar future positions.For more info see wallacemyers.ie/privacy-policy#J-*****-Ljbffr
