Job Piping SupervisorLocation LimerickContract role – 6 months +Competitive Hourly ratesJob Purpose:The Construction Piping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all piping installation activities at the construction site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, quality standards, and schedule requirements.Key Responsibilities:Supervise daily piping construction activities including fabrication, installation, hydrotesting, and flushing.Interpret piping isometric drawings, P&IDs, and material specifications.Ensure work is performed according to design, specifications, and project standards.Monitor and verify contractor and subcontractor work quality and progress.Coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, Planning, and Engineering departments.Ensure proper handling and storage of piping materials and equipment.Manage and track manpower, tools, and materials on site.Conduct and participate in daily toolbox talks and safety meetings.Prepare and submit daily progress reports, inspection requests, and site instructions.Ensure compliance with all HSE regulations and promote a strong safety culture.Resolve technical or site-related issues in coordination with engineering or project team.Required Qualifications:Third level qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.7+ years of experience in piping construction, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.Strong knowledge of piping systems, welding techniques, and construction standardss.Familiarity with isometrics, P&IDs, and piping material specifications.Understanding of hydrotest packages and pre-commissioning activities.Key Skills & Competencies:Leadership and team supervisionTechnical drawing interpretationProblem-solving and decision-makingEffective communication and reportingKnowledge of construction safety standardsComputer skills (MS Office; experience with construction management software is a plus)Job 45210 BSSCAT1If you are interested in this role, please click apply or contact Michael 086 210 7555 ******Established in 2005, Building Staff Solutions (BSS) are one of Ireland's leading outsourced solutions provider and recruitment specialists.We provide managed solutions within the construction and industrial sectors as well as temporary and permanent recruitment solutions for a variety of industries, providing qualified staff for short-term & permanent placements.BSS have a proven expertise in Construction, Industrial, Financial Services, Accountancy & Finance, Administrative Support and Sales#J-18808-Ljbffr
