Artic Tipper Driver Responsibilities: Operating articulated (Artic) tipper trucks to transport materials such as aggregates, sand, and gravel to various locations. Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of materials. Adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies. Performing routine vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance issues. Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and work hours. General Haulage Driver Responsibilities: Transporting a variety of goods nationwide using heavy goods vehicles (HGVs). Securing loads properly to prevent damage during transit. Planning routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules. Complying with driving laws and regulations, including tachograph rules. Conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections. Common Requirements for Both Positions: Valid HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) license, typically a Category C+E license in Ireland. Up-to-date CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualifications. Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations. Experience in driving HGVs, preferably with specific experience in tipper operations for Artic Tipper Drivers. Good knowledge of Irish road networks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Physical fitness, as the job may involve loading and unloading materials.
