We are a friendly, busy General Practice based in Wickow Primary Care Centre.We are hoping to recruit an enthusiastic practice nurse, initially as cover for maternity leave but this may lead to a long term position.The role is 2-3 days a week (Tuesday/Thursday/Friday) starting mid November ****.There may be some flexibility with regard to days.Our aim is to offer excellent patient care to our valued patients and to ensure our practice is a positive and progressive place to work.Candidates must be registered with the NMBI, have excellent communication skills and be flexible to work both independently and as part of a team.Previous General Practice experience is advantageous.Duties will include but are not limited toPhlebotomyCervical smearsEar LavageECGS/24 ABPMSCDM including patient education/adviceImmunisations including baby vaccines/travel and fluSkin and wound careAssisting in minor proceduresJob Type: Part-timeWork Location: In person
