OverviewAt Nicholas O'Dwyer, sustainability is at the core of our work.If you are looking to advance your career in a socially responsible company with over 90 years of experience, we invite you to be part of our team.Our mission is to deliver innovative and reliable solutions using cutting edge technology and expertise to ensure project success and employee satisfaction.We operate in water, wastewater, transportation, civil and structural engineering, flood protection, and energy including renewables.Headquartered in Ireland, with operations in the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.As part of the RSK Group, we benefit from a global network of opportunities while retaining our brand and autonomy.About the RoleWe are recruiting a Senior Project Management Engineer to deliver client-side services in the Water Sector in Ireland.The successful candidate will be accountable for the delivery of major projects with a focus on scope, budget, schedule, and risk as part of a major capital investment programme.The Senior Project Management Engineer will assist the Lead Project Management Engineer, taking responsibility for managing the project from planning and design through to successful completion and commissioning.They will ensure the project is delivered on time, to budget, and to specification, meeting Employer's requirements and corporate portfolio goals.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee and monitor the delivery of the project around the schedule, interface, cost, variations, contract, and risk, liaising with the relevant team members and functions.Develop the Project Execution Plan, ensuring alignment with Contracting Entity standards and methods.Coordinate design consultants and external service providers with technical teams.Stakeholder consultation.Monthly reporting on project tasks throughout the lifecycle, including construction.Maintain the project risk register and update at monthly progress meetings.Identify opportunities to improve Project Management procedures, templates, and products; refer ideas to the appropriate line manager.Develop cost estimates.Detailed review of Contractor's design and deliverables.Contract management.Key RequirementsMinimum of 7+ years' experience in the Construction / Infrastructure sector on projects of similar size and complexity.Relevant third-level qualification in engineering or related discipline.Qualification in project management such as PMP, and PRINCE II will be advantageous.Knowledge and experience of Health & Safety legislation and regulations.Knowledge and experience of project management methodologies.Strong water engineering technical capability.Knowledge and experience of contract administration and delivery.Ability to set up ongoing procedures to collect and review information as needed.Experience in operating on-site, not just office-based (an advantage).Track record of delivering construction/asset delivery projects on time and within budget.Knowledge of operating as a client's project manager.Experience in dealing with a range of stakeholders at all levels to influence process improvement and guidance to support project delivery.Capacity to self-motivate.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to govern and drive outcomes to meet required standards.Planning capability and experience with Oracle Primavera P6 scheduling (an advantage).Report writing skills.Computer literacy.About UsOur mission is to deliver sustainable solutions that transform communities and bring lasting positive change.Nicholas O'Dwyer provides professional services in engineering design, project management, environment and planning, construction supervision, and technical and contract advisory.We are a respected Irish consultancy operating in local and international markets.Nicholas O'Dwyer is part of the RSK Group, a leading integrated environmental, engineering, and technical services business providing multidisciplinary services to a wide range of sectors.RSK was founded in **** and has grown considerably since then.We are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace that welcomes individuals from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.We believe that diversity makes us stronger and more innovative.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionEngineering and Information TechnologyReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Nicholas O'Dwyer Ltd by 2x#J-*****-Ljbffr
