Responsibilities
Ensure all works are carried out in adherence to ESB safety standards
Ensure survey is carried out in line with ESB guidelines
Ensure all survey findings are recorded accurately
Report all near misses/good catches encountered onsite
Check poles for rot or damage
Complete Madison Bore checks
Identify headgear that needs replacement
Check overhead conductor for damage
Check ground clearance in adjacent span to pole
Identify any hazards on the network
Identify any upgrade works that are required at pole location
Requirements
Previous experience working on ESB networks an advantage but not essential as training will be provided
Must be confident working on their own initiative
Safe pass
Full, clean, manual driving license
