Our vision is to craft the brands and choice of drinks that people love.We value how we work as much as what we achieve.The Operations Shift Manager is a pivotal role within Coca-Cola Ballina and works with a team of associates to bring our brands to market.The qualified candidate will be an excellent multi-tasker and should have previous experience leading a multi-skilled team in a pro-active, hands-on way, having responsibility for all aspects of shift team performance.This position reports to the Manufacturing Area Manager and is expected to play a key role as a member of the Coca-Cola Ballina Wider Management Team.What You'll Do for UsManage, lead and motivate a multi-skilled Operations group in an empowered team-based environment, ensuring full engagement of team members.Ensure daily operations are carried out in compliance with all appropriate safety, quality and environmental standards.Execute daily and weekly production plans to meet all Business Plan commitments.Ensure timely completion of all corrective and preventive actions to avoid repeats of Service and Quality defects, and all audit non-conformances.Ensure a consistently high level of communication with the Operations team members through daily, weekly, and monthly routines.Drive, manage and embed operational excellence and a continuous improvement culture within the team to deliver improvements through lean principles and systems.Qualification & RequirementsThird level qualification, diploma or degree in a business or technical discipline required.A minimum of 5 years' experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.Demonstrated experience in people management in a people focused, team-based environment.Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Comfortable working in a team based, matrixed, ambiguous environment.Ability to manage multiple conflicting demands and to prioritize accordingly.High level of PC literacy.What We Can Do For YouExperience: Join a global organization with the limitless opportunity to learn and grow.Benefits: Full benefits package that starts on day one of employment.Learning & Development: The ability to work with a world class manufacturing team in state of the art manufacturing facilities.SkillsStandard Operating Procedure (SOP); Continual Improvement Process; Lean Manufacturing; Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP); Production Management; ISO *****; Six Sigma; Ammonia Refrigeration; Microsoft Office; Food Safety and Sanitation; 5s (Inactive); Change Management; PLC Logic; Quality Control (QC); Production Processes; Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP)Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage:15Annual Incentive reference value is a market-based competitive value for your role.It falls in the middle of the range for your role, indicating performance at target.
