General Foreman

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide leadership and direction to project teams, including subcontractors and tradespeople. Ensure adherence to project specifications, plans, and quality standards. Lead and motivate all on - site construction teams. Collaborate with the project manager to develop and implement project schedules. Manage and ensure deadlines are made on a tight schedule. Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Implement quality assurance and control processes to ensure workmanship and construction materials meet project specifications and standards. Provide timely progress reports, raise concerns, and communicate issues to project management. IDEAL CANDIDATE Proven experience as a General Foreman in civil engineering or construction projects, with utilities experience preferred. Thorough understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control standards. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications. PACKAGE Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications. Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with potential for extra hours nearing project completion. Office-based role with occasional travel to various worksites. 21 days of annual leave provided, along with a company phone and laptop.
