We have a multi-disciplinary team of over 3,800+ professionals delivering complex projects in sectors such as life sciences, food and beverages, mission-critical ICT, advanced manufacturing, energy, and environmental sectors.
Due to ongoing success in securing large-scale projects, we are looking for Lead Piping Designers to join our Piping Department in Cork.
Responsibilities
Act as Lead Designer on small projects or as a Senior Designer on large projects, with potential to become the Piping Design Team Lead in a multidisciplinary project team.
Piping 3D modelling.
Develop technical descriptions, drawings, complex piping plans and layouts, piping isometrics, and electronic models in accordance with project requirements, codes, and specifications.
Perform clash checking for pipe clashes.
Collaborate with multi-discipline teams on globally executed projects, ensuring coordination with project team members, clients, and external parties.
Qualifications
Demonstrable leadership experience in industrial piping design.
15+ years of piping design experience in chemical, bio-pharma, or similar industrial projects.
Experience with 3D modelling software such as Cadworx, PDS, PDMS, SmartPlant3D, or Plant3D.
Experience on international projects is highly desirable.
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Engineering or Science-related degree (Level 6 Certificate or Level 7 Diploma/Ordinary Degree).
