About the roleTitle – Deputy Security ManagerPay Rate –  €46,000 to €50,000 ( depending on experience)Location – Dublin, IrelandShift Timings – full time, 40 hours per week,Monday to Friday, however, must be flexible to cover any 5 days out of 7You will be working as a Deputy Security Manager in a high-profile manufacturing site with subsequent high demands on a consistently high level of service delivery in a very demanding and dynamic environment. For this role, you will be required to manage and motivate a team of security officers, supervisors and agency officers across the site. The right candidate must be confident in their ability to lead, provide security support and guidance to the General Services Manager.Your main responsibilities may include:Ensure excellent security operations across site.Ensure all security compliance is adhered toEnsure all PSA and relevant training is completed in sufficient time.All officers are C-TPAT trained and completed the mandatory Sodexo trainingDevelop training and inspection programmes to maintain standards and consistencyEnsure the site is reporting all incidents in line with SOP.Carry out regular security risk assessments with mitigation and solutions.Develop and implement SOPs and other security plans to maintain a high security standard.Ensure site maintains accurate inputting and recording of the DOB, Key register, Search documents.All escalations lists are reviewed and updated.Updated, review and manage BCP plans.Implement and review emergency procedures ensuring all staff are trained to a consistent standard.Conduct regular drills to ensure the team are trained and prepared to deal with all eventualities.Support the Operations Security Manager with various projects.Ensure the correct CCTV and access control protocols are adhered to in line with client’s requirementsEnsure compliance with the client’s security and risk standardsEnsure all officers are trained on all procedures and manage through a training matrixAll officers must be well presented and in correct company uniform with excellent customer serviceAll officers must be screened, and PSA licensed in accordance with requirementsAll officers must be aware of the current terrorist threat levelsEnsure all relief officers are cross trained and meet the client requirementsIntroduce security innovation to improve and enhance the serviceInput incidents into the clients reporting platform with full RCA investigations when requiredCarry out site audits and inspections on a regular basisEnsure supervisors are managing payroll and time management systemsLiaising with Operations Lead on various HR processesPDR reviews with officers through line management responsibilityIngenium for all management with core and relief teamTo succeed in this role, you will need the following:Security experience with strong commercial & communication skills – EssentialStrong security management experience within manufacturing / corporate environment – EssentialKnowledge of reception and mailroom operations - DesirablePresentation skills – EssentialFinancial acumen - DesirableRelationship management, understanding of external and internal customer management - EssentialUnderstanding of Integrated Facilities Management – DesirableTo be able to prioritise and complete tasks. - EssentialTo be able to respond to a variety of needs and work pressures created by the customer and colleagues– EssentialAble to response to and control emergencies. - EssentialA good knowledge of health and safety. - EssentialExcellent communication skills. - EssentialKnowledge and understanding of confidentiality issues- EssentialAll employees are expected to adhere to Sodexo health and safety regulations and Equal opportunity regulations - EssentialTo be able to write accurate, legible operational logs, security reports and statements. - EssentialAbout our companyAt BardWood Support Services we are recruitment specialists, supporting the facilities industry in the UK since 2015.
