Join to apply for theLead DeltaV Engineerrole atPM Group.OverviewMilestone is a committed provider of industry solutions and services.We are part of international project delivery specialists, PM Group.Milestone is a dynamic, highly experienced automation and digital systems consultancy.Our focus is to provide world-leading services to the Life Sciences and FMCG sectors.With 160+ experts, we have worked as end users, engineering consultants and system integrators, bringing a unique perspective to project implementation.We have extensive experience covering lean analysis, process optimisation, system integration, equipment automation, MES solutions, manufacturing intelligence and project management.The Lead DeltaV Engineer will manage a team of DeltaV engineers, overseeing control strategy development and system integration delivery for both continuous and batch manufacturing processes.They will liaise with internal engineering teams, site teams, vendors, and clients, manage system design, testing, and commissioning.Self-motivation, good technical knowledge of process control in Life Sciences, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle diverse tasks independently are key traits for this role.ResponsibilitiesLead a DeltaV team in the delivery of system integration projects, working closely with other engineering disciplines, and project management from concept through to construction.Lead the development of control strategies, logic, and programming for complex batch control applications.Lead and participate in DeltaV design reviews, both code and hardware.Collaborate with clients and project teams to ensure successful integration of DeltaV systems with existing plant infrastructure.Provide technical expertise and guidance to other DeltaV engineers and project stakeholders.Interact with clients, third-party vendors, and site teams to deliver process automation solutions.Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and site commissioning activities to ensure system functionality and performance.Develop and maintain documentation including functional specifications, design documents, and user manuals.Manage a varied workload and work independently, demonstrating self-motivation.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.Minimum 10 years of experience working with DeltaV DCS systems.Proficiency in DeltaV configuration software (DeltaV Explorer, Control Studio, etc.).Proficiency in DeltaV hardware design and testing.Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in Life Sciences industries e.g. GAMP, ISA-S88, ISA-95, ISA-*****.Strong understanding of process control principles and industrial automation systems.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment, and report to project and operations management.Additional Desired CriteriaExperience with PLC and SCADA platforms e.g. Rockwell and Siemens.Experience with Historians and MES e.g. Aveva PI, Syncade / PAS-X.Knowledge or familiarity with Smart Plant Instrumentation.Knowledge or familiarity with manufacturing network design.Knowledge or familiarity with Kneat as a digital validation solution.Seniority levelNot ApplicableEmployment typeFull-timeIndustriesConstruction and Design ServicesThis job posting is active.#J-*****-Ljbffr
