Job Description: As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of retail store operations, ensuring the highest standards of customer service, and driving sales growth. You will lead a dedicated team, manage inventory, and analyse reports to make informed business decisions. The job is based on site at the retail outlet, Knowledge & Experience Management of Business experience is essential. Relevant Third Level qualification is desirable but not essential People management skills showing good leadership of a team with excellent delegation skills Selling of products and services, maintenance of customers and seeking new customers Purchasing of goods, pricing, monitoring of margins and stock control Business Planning and implementation of same Business Administration with expertise in report analysis to ensure the profitability of the business Computer Skills essential using POS systems, Accounts Packages, and advanced knowledge in MS Word and Excel (Pivot Tables & XLookup) Typical responsibilities of the job include: Training, supervising and appraising staff Working with and managing budgets Working through statistical and financial reporting/records Dealing with customer queries and complaints Overseeing and implementing margins, pricing of products and stock control Maintaining awareness of market trends and monitoring competitors Keeping track of stock, ordering, purchasing, overseeing goods in and out Maximising profitability; setting/meeting targets, and motivating staff to do same Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies Initialising and overseeing the preparation of promotional materials and displays Liaising with accounts/admin team to ensure efficient and effective running of the business Providing monthly feedback to senior company executives Other ad hoc duties and responsibilities Skills: Strong communication skills ability to negotiate obstacles excellent Customer Service, Strong customer focus Resourceful, Confidence, Commercial awareness Flexibility and willingness to learn Strong organisational skills Attention to detail Benefits: Paid Holidays Parking Mobile Phone
