Hotel Pastry Chef Waterford We are seeking a talented and dedicated Pastry Chef with at least 3 years of experience in the culinary industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating high-quality, innovative pastries, desserts, and baked goods. As a Pastry Chef, you will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation, while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. Duties and Responsibilities of the Role: Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods, following recipes and presentation standards. Ensure consistent quality and taste in all pastry offerings. Monitor stock levels of ingredients, ensuring that the kitchen has adequate supplies. Assist in the ordering of ingredients and supplies, working within the kitchen's budgetary guidelines. Manage the use of ingredients to minimize waste and ensure efficient use of resources. Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction. Ensure timely delivery of pastry items for hotel events, weddings and daily service. Requirements for the role: The ideal candidate should have experience in high end 4-star operational role of 2/3 years with experience creating outstanding desserts.
