Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking to hire a highly motivated, best-in-class NTE Security Manager for our EMEA NTE Control Center.
EMEA Non-Traditional Environment (NTE) Security Team is seeking a NTE Security Manager to join our expanding Non-Traditional Control Center Team.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, innovative, and professional.
The role involves oversight of contract employee deliverables, collaboration with Edge Security Managers to devise security strategies, achieve financial targets, and improve operational security within our NTE Data Centers.
The Security Manager will report to the NTE EMEA Regional Security Operations Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinate activities with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage a professional contract guard force.
Oversee vendor deliverables, track service delivery, and request corrective actions as needed.
Educate Data Center partners on NTE Security procedures.
Analyze data to extract metrics and observe improvements.
Ensure security programs meet global standards.
Improve electronic surveillance and access controls.
Lead security incident responses and escalations.
Support large-scale event responses and security audits.
Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
Communicate security status to management.
Participate in security construction or retrofit projects.
Collaborate to protect personnel, information, and assets.
Identify security gaps and recommend improvements.
Investigate incidents and discrepancies.
Coach security team members on proper procedures.
Basic qualifications include:
At least four years' experience with Microsoft Office suite.
Experience analyzing complex data and developing metrics.
Operational experience with CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems.
Experience investigating security breaches.
Supporting GDPR compliance with data collection technology.
Five years' experience in a supervisory or management role.
Experience in customer-facing roles.
Ability to influence and lead security operations independently.
Preferred qualifications include:
Over five years in operations or physical security environments.
Experience collecting and analyzing data.
Participation in regional or global projects.
Strong leadership and incident management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
Exceeds Amazon's leadership principles and technical requirements.
