Established in the ****s, John Lane & Sons is a trusted, third-generation family business based in Tralee, County Kerry.We specialise in food distribution and logistics, providing the food service and hospitality industries with an extensive range of premium products.From fresh meats and dairy to frozen foods, dry goods, and beverages, we take pride in our reliable service and commitment to quality, ensuring that our customers receive the finest products with efficient, timely delivery across Ireland.We are now recruiting for the position of Front Office Receptionist.This is a Full time position working 8am to 5pm Monday to FridayKey ResponsibilitiesCustomer Interaction: Greet, welcome, and direct customers and delivery personnel to the appropriate staff, ensuring a professional first impression.Communication & Coordination: Answer and screen phone calls, take messages, and relay them to appropriate personnel.Administrative Support: Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and filing.Office & Supply Management: Maintain a clean and organised reception area, and place orders for as needed.Required Skills & QualificationsCustomer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude to ensure satisfaction for both customers and staff.Organisational Skills: Strong abilities in time management, multitasking, and planning to keep the front office running smoothly.Technical Proficiency: Competence with office equipment (phones, printers, copiers) and computer programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel etc.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with a wide range of people.Professionalism: A high level of professionalism, a positive attitude, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.Applicants must be eligible to work in the EU and speak fluent EnglishJob Type: Full-timePay: €*****-€***** per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:On-site parkingSick payWork Location: In person
