Site Engineer / Foreman Job Specification Company Location: Monaghan Project Location: Dublin Position: Site Engineer / Foreman Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent Role Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer / Foreman to oversee groundworks projects in Dublin. This role will involve managing site operations, supervising crews, and ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Setting out and surveying works in accordance with drawings and specifications Managing and supervising groundworks crews on site Coordinating plant, materials, and subcontractors Ensuring quality control and compliance with project requirements Liaising with main contractors, clients, and design teams Maintaining site records, progress reports, and as-built information Enforcing health & safety standards and conducting site checks Problem-solving on site and assisting with programme delivery Requirements Degree or qualification in Civil Engineering / Construction Management (preferred) Proven experience as a Site Engineer or Foreman, ideally in groundworks Strong setting-out skills (Total Station / GPS experience an advantage) Good leadership and communication skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations Full driving licence Willingness to travel to and work on Dublin-based sites What We Offer Competitive salary Long-term role with a growing company Opportunity for progression and responsibility Support from head office and management team
