Night Porter

The Iveagh Garden 4* Hotel - MAY 2024 FULL TIME NIGHT PORTER : 11PM - 7.30AM 40 HRS PER WEEK PERMANENT & FULL TIME - WOULD CONSIDER 4-NIGHTS (PART TIME NOT AVAILABLE) MUST BE EXPERIENCED AND HAVE PREVIOUS DUTIES FOR NIGHT AUDIT/SUPERVISION IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE FOLLOWING PAID WORK TRIAL The Porter positions at this new property are very hands on that require a significant amount of manual handling and accessing all areas of the busy hotel operation. Transporting guests luggage to rooms, setting and servicing function and meeting rooms, guest service in addition to many other daily duties. All aspects of Night Porter cover - floor walks, guest service, cleaning duties, setting up breakfast equipment and Reception desk cover alongside Nightly Security checks Night Audit duties - must be proficient on PC systems and End of Day procedures although full training given The ideal candidate will have a friendly & approachable personality and display excellent guest service skills and a very high standard of personal presentation. Fluent English is essential Previous experience in a Hotel environment is preferable for the role.
