IntroductionIndaver leads the field in sustainable waste management in Europe, with facilities and operations in Belgium, Germany, Ireland and the Netherlands.We take a long view, which is why sustainability is at the core of our business and also our company culture.Our trademark is delivering high quality, cost effective services in the municipal, industrial and specialist hazardous waste market across Ireland.We are seeking a proactive and experienced Waste Management Project Lead to oversee the transition of waste operations from the construction phase to the commissioning and operational readiness phase of the DS2 facility.This role is critical in ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and environmental stewardship throughout the transition.Role & ResponsibilitiesTransitional Leadership:Lead the handover of waste management responsibilities from the construction contractor to Indaver during the commissioning phase.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition.Waste Flow Management:Manage and coordinate all waste movements on-site during the commissioning phase.Oversee the development and implementation of waste stream processes, including line item reviews with relevant stakeholders.Set up and optimize waste flow collection points across the DS2 facility to support efficient and compliant waste segregation and disposal.Operational Readiness:Lead the review of waste flows through the DS2 facility and assess impacts on other site areas.Conduct an Operational Readiness review of all waste facilities associated with DS2, in collaboration with Pfizer EHS.Ensure all waste management activities meet regulatory and environmental compliance standards.Maintain documentation and reporting in line with corporate and legal requirements.Stakeholder Engagement:Liaise with project teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies to align waste management strategies.Participate in scheduled meetings and provide updates on progress and challenges.Experience and Qualifications RequiredProven experience in waste management within industrial or construction environments.Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance standards.Project management experience, particularly in transitional or commissioning phases.Excellent communication and coordination skills.Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and external contractors.DesirableFamiliarity with pharmaceutical or high-tech manufacturing environments.Experience working with Indaver or similar waste management service providers.Knowledge of Pfizer EHS standards and procedures.OfferCompetitive SalariesVery attractive pension schemePaid Private HealthcarePaid family leaveIncreasing Annual leave with servicePaid Educational, study and exam leave to support further learningsLong service rewardsEmployee saver schemeTax saver and Cycle to work schemePaid parkingDeath in Service Insurance providedEmployee Assistance ProgrammeSupporting your work life balanceFlexibility of working hoursPhysical and mental wellness e.g. Fresh fruit, running and sports clubs, social eventsWhere do you work?Pfizer, Grange Castle, Dublin 22Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionOther#J-*****-Ljbffr
