responsible for managing and optimizing our cloud-native infrastructure while ensuring the highest standards of security, scalability, and operational excellence.Position OverviewAs a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our Azure-based infrastructure, implementing security best practices, and ensuring smooth operations of our SaaS platform.You will work closely with development teams to streamline deployment processes and improve system reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure and Cloud OperationsDesign, maintain, and improve Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with Terraform and TerragruntManage and optimize AKS clusters, including Istio service mesh implementation for enhanced service-to-service communication and securityImplement and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure solutions that support our growing SaaS platformOversee Azure resource management, including networking, Key Vault, Blob Storage, and Azure Cosmos DBConfigure and maintain OpenSearch clusters for logging and search capabilitiesOptimize CosmosDB performance, scaling, and cost managementDevOps Practices and AutomationLead and enhance CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, ensuring efficient and reliable deployment processesImplement and maintain GitOps workflows using ArgoCD for automated deploymentsDevelop and maintain automation scripts (primarily in Bash) to improve operational efficiencyDrive continuous improvement in deployment processes and developer workflowsSecurity and ComplianceImplement and maintain Zero Trust security architecture using Azure PIM and RBACEnforce security best practices and least privilege principles across the infrastructureManage Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) and network security configurations in AzureEnsure compliance with security standards and best practicesMonitoring and ReliabilityDesign and implement comprehensive observability solutions using OpenTelemetry, Azure Log Analytics Workspace, and Application InsightsParticipate in on-call rotation to provide production support and incident responseLead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of preventive measuresMaintain and improve system reliability metrics and SLAsRequired Qualifications5+ years of DevOps/SRE experience in SaaS or cloud-native environmentsStrong programming skills in Python or Go for automation and tooling developmentProven expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure and servicesStrong experience with Terraform and Terragrunt for infrastructure managementKubernetes (AKS) and Helm in production environmentsIstio Service Mesh and Istio Ingress GatewaysArgoCD and GitOps methodologiesCI/CD pipeline development in Azure DevOpsDemonstrated experience implementing Zero Trust security, PIM, and RBACPractical knowledge of observability tools including OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure MonitorProficiency in scripting and automation, particularly with BashTrack record of production support and on-call rotation participationStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environmentsExperience with WAFs and network security in AzureOn Call Rotation Participation as neededPreferred QualificationsExperience with Kafka and event-driven architecturesKnowledge of distributed systems and microservice architectureAdvanced
