Are you an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer looking to be part of key projects within a dynamic and progressive engineering company?
Rockwell is seeking a Lead Mechanical Project Engineer to join an exciting mechanical engineering project based in the Longford region.
This is a permanent, full-time position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Generate project schedules in collaboration with the project team.
Monitor project work progress.
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
Handle project engineering submissions and value engineering.
Manage project procurement and materials.
Review project build and coordinate with co-contractors.
Design and model in 3D using Autodesk software.
Evaluate the final product's performance, reliability, and safety.
Interact with and manage clients, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Conduct quality control through inspections and snagging, including walkthroughs of P&ID's and layout drawings.
Essential Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
Relevant third-level qualification in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
Knowledge of HVAC and Piping Systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software.
Minimum of 5 years relevant post-qualification experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to produce detailed reports.
Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, energetic approach, and accountability.
