Be among the first 25 applicantsRole SummaryState Street is seeking an MD in Transfer Agency.The successful candidate will be responsible for Transfer Agency Operational Delivery and end-to-end onboarding tasks related to Lift-out/M&A opportunities.The role encompasses Operational readiness, business/technical readiness and migration planning and delivery.The current role is specifically related to our UK Transfer Agency (TA) strategic business expansion and a current Lift-out project.Reporting to the Ireland/EMEA Head of Transfer Agency, the role will be required to demonstrate exemplary leadership skills, a comprehensive knowledge of Transfer Agency products and operational workflows and risks to provide effective management of this Transfer Agency function.The role has a significant strategic impact to Global Transfer Agency and is also accountable for client experience.Key ResponsibilitiesOwnership of the design and successful execution of transfer agency Lift-out activities and onboarding.Accountable for the operational service delivery and the client experience within this function.Ensure day-to-day service delivery and operational risk management throughout the lifecycle of the activities.Governance of the TA risk profile of this function including ensuring TA meet all regulatory requirements.Demonstrate a 'Risk Excellence' culture by establishing the tone at the top and drive a culture of Risk Excellence across the team.Leadership and culture of the TA function with a focus on employee engagement and the development and retention of talent.Driving the technology strategy and execution of TA strategic plans.Driving a culture of innovation and transformation throughout the team.Partner with Sales, Relationship, Product, IT, Compliance and Risk teams to support management of key client relationships and service delivery, and new business opportunities related to Lift out/M&A.Identify operational risks and formulate solutions to mitigate risk.RequirementsIt is a condition of the role that you comply with the Central Bank of Ireland regulatory requirements that are applicable to the role, namely:Requirements as to your fitness and probity, in accordance with section 21(1) of the Central Bank Reform Act ****.The role is a CF-8 role.Requirements in relation to the Common Conduct Standards under the Individual Accountability Framework, given effect by the Central Bank (Individual Accountability Framework) Act ****.What We ValueOutstanding Product/Service/Operational knowledge in Transfer Agency (particular Non Alternatives)/Fund Administration and successful track record of delivering TA projects.Excellent Operational end-to-end TA knowledge.Some knowledge of UK regulatory environment and products.Project management and analytical and strategic thinking.Effective policies and procedures control – with a concern for quality.Demonstrated problem solving, decision-making and negotiation skills.Proven ability to influence others and to promote teamwork across different organizational departments.Team player, ability to build consensus and to motivate others.Ability to develop and maintain business relationships within the wider business unit and cross locations.Display a strong understanding of the corporate workings of a global service organization.Effectively manage multiple stakeholders, determine highest priorities for the function, identify and resolve contention as required.Proven leadership skills as well as managing and developing a high-performing operational team.Experience with change management programs in sponsorship and leadership roles.Demonstrated ability to execute and deliver targeted outcomes.The Candidate Will Possess And/or Be Able To DemonstrateA proven track record at a senior level of running operations team and delivery of TA Strategic Projects.Experience of TA Onboarding and business integration.***** years plus working experience in Transfer Agency and/or Fund Administration.Technical knowledge of Transfer Agency activities and associated regulations.Experience interfacing at a senior level with clients and service providers.Strong team leadership, coaching, mentoring, communication and presentation skills.Focus on talent management, optimizing technology and managing operational risk decisions effectively.Energy, enthusiasm and an obsession with service quality and delivering to our clients seamlessly.An ability to think strategically, managing complexity, change and multiple priorities.A relevant graduate degree or masters
