good?Check out the details below.Who you'll be working with:Our Senior Data Solutions Architect will work with a global team with a common goal of making the right data available to the right people at the right time through a Data as a Product approach.Locally, with support from the Director of Architect, our Senior Data Architect is a member of the Liberty IT Architecture team and will lead technical teams to bring their strategic vision, roadmaps and designs to life through first class Engineering and innovative approaches.Experience and skills we need:In-depth knowledge and experience in multiple aspects of Data Engineering, with a particular focus on Data Management and Data Warehousing.Knowledge and exposure to Data Mesh Architecture and other modern Data Architectures.Extensive experience in cloud computing.A minimum of three years' experience in a technical leadership role, working at a senior level in a complex, multi-platform distributed environment.Experience in architecting complex, scalable solutions and designs, using multiple technologies and processing environments.Good knowledge of the Well-Architected Framework, with experience in promoting it across multiple teams.Experience in working in partnership with business stakeholders, defining technology strategies and building solutions to meet their business needs utilising a product mindset.Extensive leadership, coaching and mentoring experience, including implementing engineering excellence best practises across multiple teams.Experience and skills we'd love:We've included some further skills and following areas of responsibility.Product and technology strategyForm deep partnerships with Liberty Mutual and Liberty IT stakeholders to fully understand the business area you are partnering with to establish, lead and own the technology strategy and roadmap to enable the business to achieve their objectives.Research trends and practices outside of Liberty and the Insurance sector, and apply these where beneficial to the business and Liberty IT.Influence the selection and implementation of infrastructure and software product standards to significantly impact current strategic roadmaps and technical practices.Consult and collaborate with technology leaders, business partners and peer groups regarding long and short-range product features.Make, guide and justify decisions characterized by high levels of risk, impact and complexity.You will build consensus between various groups or highly independent and diverse stakeholders.Partner with Product Owners and Engineering teams to align technical design and strategy with the product roadmapProvide consultation to Senior Leadership, business partners and peer groups regarding long and short-range business requirements.Recommend innovations, which anticipate the future direction of the business, its drivers and technology strategy.Partner with other members of the Leadership and Support team to secure new opportunities aligned with our technology strategy.Hands-on Architecture and EngineeringCreate, design and develop architectures and scalable solutions to resolve business problems in line with the Liberty IT architecture direction and standards.When appropriate, work with software development teams and Technical Leads to establish engineering standards that align to our enterprise well-architected framework.Provide technical management and drive development of very large, strategic and complex systems using future facing technologies and platforms.Actively design, code and test as part of delivery.Investigate and prototype complex, cross platform solutions to validate the introduction of new technologies to the solution.Recommend emerging solutions, technologies and tools to increase market share and/or reduce operational costs.Lead and coach teamsCoach and mentor Engineers to reach their potential.Share knowledge about areas of expertise, understanding the right medium and approach to reach your target audience.Identify and develop new technical capabilities based upon business needs and the technology strategy.Support multiple technical teams, finding and using best practices and emerging technologies.Educate multiple teams and areas of the well-architected framework to facilitate the framework's adoption as a cultural norm.Liberty IT initiativesActively
