Window & Door Fabricator (Aluminium)

Alutrade Window Systems Ltd are manufacturers of PVC & Aluminium windows and doors.We design and manufacture products for small to medium sized projects to the domestic and commercial markets in the Munster area.We are currently looking to hire an individual to join our manufacturing facility in Midleton, Co.Cork.The successful candidate will be joining a small fabrication team and will be working within all processes of manufacturing PVC & Aluminium window and door systems.The ideal candidate will:have an eye for detailbe patientbe friendlybe organisedbe self-motivatedhave good time management skills and is punctualhave the right first-time attitudebe consistent with qualitybe a good fit for company culturehave a background or interest in carpentryA minimum of two years experience in fabricating windows and doors is required.Aluminium fabrication is preferable but not necessary.Ideally the candidate would be familiar with various profile systems suppliers such as AMS, Sapa, Reynaers, etc. and would have fabricated casement, tilt & turn, single action doors, lift and slide doors and curtain walling.The successful candidate must be able to:measure accuratelyread shop drawingsuse handheld power toolsoperate a double-head saw (training provided)understand profiles and associated codesunderstand screw types and their usescorrectly sequence the order of fabricationJob Type: Full-timePay: €*****-€***** per hourExpected hours: 39 per weekBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany pensionOn-site parkingSick payExperience:Fabrication: 2 years (preferred)Work Location: In person
