General Insurance offers a broad range of products to customers through a diversified, multichannel distribution network.About the roleWhat you need to know:Seeking a Financial Lines Complex Claims Adjuster, to deal with a mixed case load of financial lines claims including Professional Indemnity (PI) and Directors and Officers Liability, (D&O) EPL and management liability from notification through to resolution of claims.
Role will be client facing and in addition to coverage, legal liability and quantum analysis, will include interaction with brokers, insureds, external providers and internal stakeholders.Able to handle and investigate all claims in accordance with company standards and procedures and demonstrate accurate and timely reserving.Promote compliance with best practice for all aspects of claims assessment/handling and actively promote and demonstrate principles of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF).
Support the Claims Manager and claims team on an ongoing basis and work closely with underwriters providing feedback on claims issues, wording and market trends.Proactively identify and review suspect/fraudulent claims on a consistent basis in line with company' internal requirements.Foster good relationships with internal and external customers and drive excellent customer service.What we're looking for:A legal qualification or an experienced financial lines claims adjuster or litigator who possess a deep knowledge of commercial and civil law.Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of PI and D&O claims handling together with a working knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment within with such claims are handled.Candidates will also have strong communication skills, both written and verbal and be articulate and confident in a meeting environment.Demonstrate experience in fostering good relationships with internal and external customers and drive excellent customer service.Successful candidates will be both a collaborative team player and capable of working independentlyA look at our benefitsAt AIG, we have a 100-year legacy of working to make the world a better place.
