Job descriptionBurkes Pharmacy GroupBurkes Pharmacy is an independent, community-centered pharmacy group located in three locations in the center of Naas, and two locations in Dublin.We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Naas .The ideal candidate would be seeking to join a dynamic working environment in a small pharmacy chain.Role SummaryThe Pharmacy Technician works alongside the pharmacist to ensure that prescriptions are dealt with in a timely manner.Burkes Pharmacy group prides itself on its high standard of customer care, which the Technician, alongside the dispensary and OTC team, would contribute to by advising customers on over the counter medications .The ability to work as part of a team is essential, as are excellent organizational and time management skills.The role would suit an experienced candidate, who would gain excellent experience by working alongside a professional pharmacy team, Supervising Manager ,Area Manager and Store Manager .Experience in all aspects of the daily tasks in the dispensary and OTC required ,exceptional customer service .Team player and respect for your work Colleagues.*Responsibilities*- Preparing prescriptionsAssisting the Pharmacist in dispensing prescriptionsAdvising customers on OTC medicationManaging purchasing , both bulk ordering and day to day.Miscellaneous dispensary organisational duties-Advising customers on all aspects of their medications-RequirementsPharmacy Technician qualificationMinimum one year experience as a technicianFamiliarity with OTC medication, including dosage and frequencyAbility to work as part of a team in a fast paced environmentFluent EnglishAll candidates must have the right to live and work in IrelandJob Types: 40hrs per weekSalary:Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: Up to €***** per hourBenefits:Employee discountAbility to commute/relocate:Naas, CO.Kildare: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience:Pharmacy technician: 1 year (required)Language:English fluently (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
