Responsibilities:
Patient Preparation - Explain procedures, ensure comfort, and position patients correctly for the ultrasound.
Operate Equipment - Use ultrasound machines to capture high-quality images of internal organs and tissues.
Document Information - Record patient history and medical details, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
Review Images - Analyze and provide images to physicians for diagnosis, though diagnosis itself is not part of their role.
Maintain Equipment & Safety - Ensure ultrasound machines are properly maintained and follow safety protocols to protect patients.
Requirements:
Relevant Degree in Radiography
CORU Registration
Full driving license and access to own car is desirable.
Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting.
International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
