Manufacturing Projects EngineerLocation:CorkIndustry:Medical DevicesSalary:Excellent rates and hybrid working offered (2 days work from home) with a 1pm Friday finishCareer Progression:Excellent opportunity for Manufacturing Engineers to progress career towards Project Manager.Role ProfileThe successful candidate is responsible to work between R&D and Supplier Engineering to get a new supplier on board, this will coordinate testing of the new material, Project Managing the build and ensuring the line won't go down.Work with R&D to come up with solutions.Responsibilities:Evaluate and lead the implementation of alternative materials through best practices in research, analysis, and selectionInteracting with R&D and other functions to define test builds to better understand next stepsCollaborating with project team and base business product teams to define solutions.Own and drive process, equipment value improvement projects, and strategic cost projects within designated areas.Provide inputs on Equipment/Systems issues, offering corrective or alternative actions based on thorough analyses.Foster continuous improvement by interfacing with peers and cross-functional groups to enhance workflows and methodologiesQualificationsDegree required:Level 8 bachelors related engineering degree: manufacturing, mechanical, quality, bio-medicalProven experience:2/3 years minimum experienceCREGG is an equal opportunities employer.#J-*****-Ljbffr
