HGV Technician - 11-month FTC Are you a skilled HGV Technician looking for a new opportunity in a dynamic environment? We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join a leading Irish company specialising in the manufacture of chemicals for safe drinking water and wastewater treatment. Based in Shannon, this role is central to ensuring the smooth operation of their busy maintenance department. What You'll Be Doing: Preparing vehicles for CVRT testing and quarterly inspections. Providing training and guidance to apprentices and colleagues. Delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. Managing stock levels and ordering critical parts. Maintaining efficiency under pressure and flexibility for overtime when needed. Ensuring compliance with all relevant Health & Safety regulations. What We're Looking For: Qualified Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanic (QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft or equivalent), or someone keen to work towards achieving this qualification. Minimum 3 years of industry experience, including vehicle and trailer servicing and diagnostics. C1 Driving Licence is essential. Comprehensive knowledge of CVRT requirements for HGVs.
