About Your New Employer Your new employer is a respected and experienced provider of building services throughout Ireland since 1999.
This company has experience in both design and installation and provides specialist commercial and industrial engineering services to the building industry.
They have worked on many reputable projects involving complex water, air, and heating installations.
About Your New Job You will work as a Mechanical Supervisor on a healthcare project in Waterford with a value of €7 million.
As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will oversee and manage the mechanical works on-site, ensuring that all activities are completed to the highest standards.
You will work closely with site managers, project managers, and tradespeople to ensure the timely and successful completion of all mechanical works.
You will be responsible for overseeing the daily works from an engineering point of view, ensuring quality control, and managing the day-to-day operations on-site.
Some of your duties will include: Supervising and coordinating the activities of mechanical tradespeople and subcontractors.
Ensuring compliance with HSEQ standards and maintaining a site diary.
Attending and chairing internal and external meetings with stakeholders.
Managing project variations in conjunction with the PM and QS.
Overseeing the completion of labour allocation sheets by subcontractors.
Developing and implementing daily action plans What Skills & Requirements You Need A degree in construction or mechanical engineering.
Extensive experience working in a building services role for an M&E contractor, Main Contractor, or an M&E Consultancy.
Strong knowledge of building services with a particular emphasis on plumbing and HVAC.
Proven supervisory and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
