We are seeking a skilled and experienced Design Engineer to join our stainless steel manufacturing plant.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in design engineering, with strong proficiency in SolidWorks, CAD, and other relevant software.The Design Engineer will be responsible for developing, designing, and improving stainless steel products, tools, and components, ensuring they meet the required specifications and quality standards.This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and project management, to ensure the successful completion of projects.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and Development: Create and develop detailed 2D and 3D designs of stainless steel products, components, and assemblies using SolidWorks and other CAD software.Product Improvement: Identify areas for product improvement and innovation, conducting feasibility studies and design analyses to optimize product performance and manufacturing processes.Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for all design projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.Collaboration: Work closely with the production, quality assurance, and project management teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and align with production capabilities.Prototyping: Oversee the creation and testing of prototypes, analyzing results and making necessary design adjustments to meet project goals.Quality Assurance: Ensure that all designs comply with relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards, conducting thorough testing and analysis to verify design integrity.Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues that arise during the manufacturing process, providing technical support and solutions to the production team.Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest design software, tools, and industry trends, implementing best practices to improve design processes and outcomes.Qualifications and SkillsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in design engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment focusing on stainless steel products.Technical Skills:Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD software (AutoCAD, CATIA, etc.).Knowledge of CAM software and CNC programming is a plus.Strong understanding of engineering principles, material science, and manufacturing processes, particularly related to stainless steel.Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and simulation tools is desirable.Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a focus on quality and accuracy in design.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of work.Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.Application ProcessInterested candidates should submit their CV toPlease include "Design Engineer Application" in the subject line of your email.
