Payroll Specialist

OverviewReporting to the HR Leader Ireland, the Payroll specialist will own and drive employee life-cycle processes such as Payroll, On-boarding, Off-boarding, Data Management, Time and Attendance and other transactional tasks for all employees within scope.
QualificationsDegree qualification, with 3+ years of payroll experience managing a high volume of transactionsAbility to work on own initiative to drive timely completion of payrollsExceptional attention to detail, with a right first-time mindsetPayroll qualification a distinct advantage, e.g.
IPASS qualification or similarProven track record of managing internal and external stakeholdersProcess driven, with strong understanding of payroll and HR processes, policies and systems, for example PeopleSoft, ADP GlobalView, UKG Kronos, Coupa, ServiceNowIntermediate level MS Office skills are required including Excel, Outlook, PowerPointExcellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills with all levels of the organizationResponsibilitiesResponsible for end-to-end processing of 4 payrolls; 1 weekly payroll with approx.
400 employees and 3 monthly payrolls with approx.
300 employees.
Carry-out each payroll process to ensure all payments have been properly processed and appropriate taxes/deductions withheld as scheduled for all Ireland payrollsManage any payroll queries and payroll related documents which need to be issuedManage T&A data collection and ensure timely submission of all (in)variable data for payroll calculations, always assuring highest levels of accuracyMaintain current knowledge of regulatory policies and procedures that govern time collection, payroll processing and taxationEnsure compliance with company benefit policies, enforce approved pay practices, and ensure statutory compliance;Maintain internal control procedures to ensure SOX compliance, segregation of duties and security accessMain point of contact for annual audits, both internal and externalAdminister all relevant benefits, such as pension and health insurance.
