Marketing Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Assistant, with experience in a similar role to join Ireland's largest cattle breeding and herd management service provider – Munster Bovine.
We're looking for an energetic Marketeer with a passion for agricultural who has a drive to work in a fast paced environment and is keen to gain experience in a broad and varied marketing role.
The successful candidate will report to the Marketing Manager and work within a team of three with the option of hybrid working.
Purpose
The Marketing Assistant will work closely with the Marketing team to support the successful execution of marketing campaigns in line with the overall sales and marketing strategy to drive brand awareness and deliver on sales targets.
Collaborating with a wide network of internal and external stakeholders the purpose of this role in centered around demonstrating to our farmer customers, the value of using Munster Bovines services.
Responsibilities
Assist in delivering the Company's overall marketing strategy.
Act as a point of contact for the collation of suitable field photography and social media content and effective promotion of same via our social media channels.
Creation of regular engaging, informative social media posts for all social media channels ensuring an even distribution of content is supplied to all customer segments.
Management of queries received through social media channels.
Involved in the creation of video content for website and social media channels.
Assist in the co-ordination of Munster Bovine's presence at trade show events and exhibitions to ensure that Munster Bovine is represented to the highest of standards.
Updating of company website, ie management of product files, creation and optomisation of content for SEO, revision of online banners.
Support the marketing of Munster Bovine's mobile application FarmOps to our customer base involving advertising, creation of social media content, website content, presence at online and offline events and liaison with customer service and development team to increase adaption and awareness of benefits of product.
Support the planning of public webinars in association with guest speakers and panelists.
Contribute to the creation of innovative marketing campaigns
Co-ordination of product brochure design and general marketing collateral
Co-ordination of direct marketing campaigns to existing customer base
Support field sales team to ensure sales support aids are available ranging from printed catalogues to promotional merchandise.
Ensuring that this role is carried out pro-actively with energy, commitment, professionalism and discretion, quickly adapting to requirements and changing circumstances.
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
Agricultural background or experience essential.
Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Science, Ag Business, Marketing, Business or related field.
1-2 years' experience in a similar role.
Video production and editing experience advantageous.
Understanding of content marketing tactics, such as SEO, digital advertising, and social media marketing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on attention to detail.
Experience with social media management.
Creativity and the ability to develop original content across the various platforms that provokes engagement.
Ability to build relationships with both internal and external bodies.
Self-starter with a positive can-do attitude.
Ability to manage multiple projects at any one time.
Flexibility to adjust planned activity in order to maintain project course.
Normal Working Hours
8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday
Place of Work, Munster Bovine head office, Ballyvorisheen, Mallow, Co.
Cork but with the option of hybrid working upon the successful completion of probationary period.
Flexibility to attend occasional evening or weekend events will be required to meet business needs.
