We are seeking a Senior Silicon Architect for Timer – General Timer Module (GTM) to be a part of the Platform System Resources team with a special focus on GTM architecture and components.

Job Description
As a technical leader, you will define timer requirements across different Automotive Microcontroller platforms, and configure timer IP modules and architecture to ensure that customer requirements and KPIs are met.
In your new role you will:
Be responsible for the
definition of
component requirements
and platform specification for each architectural component
Break down stakeholder requirements and application assumptions
into component requirements
Proactively drives innovation
(according to strategy) in Timer components, leveraging industry and market insights to anticipate and respond to emerging trends, and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives
Own and create technical documentation
in order to provide the requested functional descriptions and documents
Interface with Technical Marketing and Design
teams to ensure seamless integration of platform architecture and component development, and to drive technical innovation and differentiation
Assure quality and performance for
architectural Timer components
Your Profile
You have a talent for identifying technical opportunities and possess a keen sense for innovative solutions in the area of Timer components.
Your proactive approach and solution-oriented mindset allow you to tackle complex technical challenges, define requirements for architectural Timer components, and guide IP and SoC teams.
With exceptional communication skills, you establish lasting relationships and networks with colleagues and stakeholders, and maintain high-quality standards in your work, ensuring technical solutions meet the needs of the business.
You are best equipped for this position if you have:
A
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
,
Physics
, or a related technical field
At least
5 years of relevant work experience
in a similar role within the semiconductor or automotive industry
Strong knowledge of microcontroller architecture
and analog mixed-signal design/system integration
Strong working background in
industry-standard timer
Proven experience in
creating and maintaining technical documentation
Familiarity with
functional safety standards
and their application
Proven ability to work effectively in
multicultural environments
Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills
, with the ability to effectively collaborate
with cross-functional teams
Fluent
English language skills
, both written and spoken
